THESE HIGH STOCKING SNEAKS ARE ABOVE KNEE HEIGHT. THEY HAVE STRETCH LEATHER STOCKING UPPERS, DRAPING AROUND THE UPPER FOOT AND ANKLE, TOE CAPS AND SHARK-TOOTHED BUMPER SOLES.

THIS STRETCH LAMB LEATHER HAS A SMALL GRAIN TEXTURE AND MATTE FINISH.

THIS LEATHER IS MADE BY A SECOND GENERATION FAMILY OWNED TANNERY IN THE SOUTH OF FRANCE SPECIALIZING ONLY IN STRETCH LEATHER PRODUCTION. EACH SKIN IS STRETCHED OUT TO ITS LIMIT AND BONDED TO A COTTON AND LYCRA FABRIC BACKING. WHEN DYED, THE HEAT OF THE PROCESS ACTIVATES THE LYCRA ELASTIC FIBRES THAT SHRINK THE FABRIC AND WITH IT THE SKIN, BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL SIZE. THE LEATHER THEN EXITS THE PROCESS AS STRETCH.
